How SMPL Realty Got Started
SMPL Realty was founded with one idea: buying and selling a home in Saint Louis shouldn't be complicated. Too many agencies hide behind confusing fees and industry jargon. We wanted to build something different — a real estate agency where clients get straight answers, honest pricing, and an agent who actually picks up the phone.
We've lived and worked in the Saint Louis area for years. We know the neighborhoods block by block — from the brick bungalows in Dogtown to the luxury homes in Ladue, from the tight-knit streets of The Hill to the growing suburbs of Chesterfield and Ballwin. This isn't just where we work. It's where we live.
Since opening our doors, we've closed hundreds of transactions across St. Louis City and County. We've helped first-time buyers, seasoned investors, divorcing couples, and estate executors — and we've built a 5-star reputation doing it. We're just getting started.

Kathryn hit the ground running. In her first year as a REALTOR®, she closed roughly 30 transactions — putting her in the top 0.1% of all agents in the Saint Louis metro. That early success wasn't a fluke. It came from outworking everyone around her and genuinely caring about every client she worked with. Since then, she's trained and coached dozens of new and top-producing agents at two different brokerages, helping them build real careers in real estate. A Saint Louis native, Kathryn brings a tech-forward approach to everything she does while staying deeply rooted in her local community. When she's not closing deals or mentoring agents, you'll find her working with high school students, helping young people pursue their dreams of home ownership and business ownership before they even leave the classroom.

When he's not closing deals, you'll find him exploring Saint Louis neighborhoods and staying on top of local market trends.
